You can buy shooter 5906's in the low 300's. If you are going to shoot it all the time, that might be the way to go. However, if it's going to be part of your collection and shot occasionally, that's a pretty good price for a near mint 5906. I'd offer him $400 OTD, I bet he'll take it.
