That is a very good deal even for a "shooter". I have two of the same guns. Both with square trigger guards and the fixed sights.

I bought one new from a LGS in the '90's, and I recently bought one LNIB/mint on an on-line site for $375 which I thought was a real steal, and in fact I think I just timed it right.

Here's the deal, I would have easily paid $425-$450 for a LNIB/mint model. I have seen them sell for $400-$600 LNIB/NIB.

You can't buy any type of similar new gun that is slightly used, let's say a SIG or Beretta, with an alloy frame or SS frame and SS slide for less than $500. I personally don't want to buy someone else's troubles, a gun with extremely high round count, or a LEO trade in, unless I can see it and fire it. IT is worth an extra $100 to me to be able to buy a mint/LNIB model.

Long story short, I would jump on it.
