850 is aggressive. I picked up a used 629-1 with 8-3/8" barrel for $475. New factory 4-1/4" barrel from S&W was $135, and probably $100 to have it installed and a basic service check up. That's a DIY Mountain Gun for roughly $700. I'd pass on that 850 and keep looking.
