Well that does make it interesting.

This one definably has a 629-1, flash chromed hammer and trigger, and thin barrel (I have a regular 629-1 4 inch bbl with a heavy barrel and I know the difference) as well as the cylinder face is kind of recessed, that is it is not squared off but very noticeably rounded off edges.

It also does not have any 'Mountain Gun' laser engraved on the barrel either. And the front sight is pinned in and not like standard 4 inch sight that is part of the barrel.

So was this a regular production item?
