I am the proud owner of a SD9VE myself and must say a big DITTO on everything you covered. I'm just used to visually more pleasing pistols such as the Hi Power. But this a great little weapon. I bought it to be under my right arm while riding one of my street motorcycles. I do think it will do just fine. I bought 6 50 round boxes of various brands and styles of ammo dumped them in a bag and loaded my 3 factory mags with the mixed rounds as I grabbed them blind out of the bag. The results... 300 rounds with no failures of any kind and satisfactory accuracy. This is now my newest carry pistol.
