Okay, I admit that I watch mainly to see the daughter. I mean, Rich can't even pronounce "Schofield" right!
As for his gunsmiths and the time they take to do an action job, they aren't getting anywhere near my guns!

The prices are absurd, as is the drama. But they aren't as redneck as the other show out of LA, with all the auto weapons.

And I do like the positive image they present of guns and their family closeness. The kids seem to be trying hard to learn the business. But how well can Kurt really engrave, and does he just do laser engraving? How well would his work stack up against that of known masters like the late Lynton Mackenzie or Ed. C. Prudhomme or John Warren?

It's entertainment, pure and simple. I also don't take Bear Grylls too seriously. I think he'd do better to teach real survival skills.
