But if you intend on getting one, make sure your eyesight is compatible! There's no focusing adjustments. And the BAC doesn't work with everybody. But if it does work for you, a reddot won't be needed for close up or night work.
I like the red fiber optic, but most of it is taped over for daytime situations.

It would be hard to make make sure your eyesight is compatible if you were
buying one online, which is the only place I have seen one. I would hate
to drop a large chunk of change on one and not have it work. Been reading
some online reviews and most are positive.
