Hi
Here are three K-22 with the three different sights that were available from the Factory.
1. This is a early 1931 gun with the Call Gold Bead Front Sight
2. This is a gun that was shipped to Ed McGivern in May of 1932 with the McGivern Gold
Bead Front Sight.
3. This is a late shipment 6/1939 with the Call Silver Bead Front Sight, This gun is all
Matching with the original red box.

A little more information on the McGivern Gun. This gun and 5 others were ordered by Ed
to start a Police Shooting Team in Lewistown Mt. the order was for 2 K-22 and 4 K-38
Targets all with McGivern Gold Bead front sights. I have one of the K-38,s and one of the K-22,s from this order. I also have letters back and forth from Douglas Wesson and Ed
about these guns. These letters were in the S&W Historical records.
Enjoy the story and the Guns.
