It is probably one of the best double actions you will ever fire on a revolver. It is smooth, light and crisp. I like the looks of the 627PC better but with the Scandium frame and the heavy front barrel, it balances out perfectly. I'm not much of a tactical firearm guy and I prefer the looks of the TRR8 because you can remove the picatinny rail underneath the barrel were as the R8 it is part of the barrel.
