How is this not the Extractor?


And why is it that when I removed the part in this,

did the mag disconnect safety no longer work.
And to clarify in case I am using the wrong verbage, if the hammer is cocked, and the mag is out of the weapon, I can still pull the trigger. However, before that part was out, I could not.

I didnt know 915's were actually Police issues. I only though the 5906's were Police issues since the ambi slide safety. Vs the 915 is only on 1 side. I thought the 910's and 915 were the value model's and not for Law Enforcement agencies.
