I paid $199+tax about 5 years ago for a six-inch 422, fixed sights, but a previous owner had added the wooden grips. It has wear-marks, but I didn't care, I haven't seen too many 422s around here.

Love this pistol, my kids handle this one like pros.

Ditto the comments about a "Target" model...I'd thought that back in the late '80s / early '90s when the 422s / 622s were in their heyday, the adjustable sight / wood grip versions were considered "target-grade" and the fixed sight / plastic grip versions were considered "field-grade" models. This recollection may be coming from an article by Terry Murbach in the old "Handguns" magazine, where he compared several .22 handguns...that article inspired me toward my first 422 purchase in the 1990 timeframe.
