I carry my FS M&P 9mm in a Old Faithful holster with no problems except when I have to drive my car. I have not yet found a good place were it will not poke my side. However, I never have a problem when riding my motorcycle which I ride everyday to work. I am a thin build 6'1" and a 140lbs, so I understand what you are talking about. I went with the Old Faithful mainly because of the price, not wanting to spend a lot money on something that did not work for me. Like others have said, it will take trial and error to get the holster to sit right on your body and a good gun belt is a must I got mine at the Wilderness company, they have a lifetime replacement.
