Default It pays to pay attention

I was getting ready to reload some 45 ACP tonight. I have a 8lb jug of AA#5 and I transfer the powder from the larger jug to a 1 lb. bottle to fill the powder hopper. Well I moved the smaller #5 bottle to the work bench and than had to move a 1 lb. bottle of AA#7 to get to the 8 lb. jug of AA#5. You have guessed it. I pored a 1/2 lb. of my AA#5 into my AA#7 bottle. Now I have 1 lb. of AA#12 to pour on the grass. I try never to have 2 powders on the bench at the same time for this very reason. As soon as I was done filling the smaller bottle I knew I screwed up. I am posting this just as a reminder to all of us that double checking our reloading process reduces mistakes. I would rather feel like a fool then to be injured and damage a firearm.
