I remember seeing these 2.5" M 10's for sale in Gun List many years ago. It was a like a 1/4 page ad with a picture of the gun, don't know where they came from, I think they are 10-7's. Longer ejection stroke cleared 38 Spl. completely. I recall Smith recently offered 2.5" 637, 638 and 642 with shrouded rods, I never saw one in person, but I saw a 637 on Gunsamerica once, so they existed. Don't see them anymore, perhaps they didn't sell well, but that would be ideal in my book!
