on the Hogue website, the term "Monogrip"
seems to be reserved for the one-piece handgun grips and "Overmolded" or O.M. grips are the rifle grips.
I have seen some vendor websites refer to the rifle grip as a "Monogrip" but with the same part number as the O.M.
Bottom line, if it fits your rifle, I wouldn't worry about it. It is probably the same thing.

If you get the Magpul MIAD AR-10 wedge, you can use the extended backstraps with virtually no gap between the lower receiver and grip back strap.
