I've got the Magpul handguards on a carbine and a rifle they are much better than a standard A2 handguard all the way around. Its easy to hold,it sits better on a sand bag rest,and its a lot tighter than an A2. If you use the Magpul rails they are even more versitill. really want to see pics of this, doesnt the DCM free float tube have the triangular cap. That is what kept me from using the free float tubes with the factory style grip, plus I really love the rifle length handguards on the 16" barrel!
