They work just fine in my 15-22, luckily my rifle hasn't been picky with ammo in over 10,000 rounds. Though I typically use federal 550 bulk boxes, sometimes remington is all that's in stock. I've used probably 3-4,000 rounds of the remington golden bullets and the only problems I've had are your typical primer problems with .22lr ammo.

They are just as dirty as any other .22lr ammo from my experience.
