That isn't a sizzling deal, but is a good one. I think you'll like that gun enough that you'd have paid more and been content.
I sold my M-686 and got a four-inch GP-100 about nine years ago. I prefer the ruggedness and balance of the Ruger, although I like some other S&W's better than some Rugers.
What sort of wood is the Hogue grip? Is it a laminate?
