I've never had that problem with mine. It might be because I took precautions & polished the feed ramp. Mine looks like a mirror & is very smooth to the touch. I did the same thing to my Glock 23 (now my son's) when I used it as an armed security officer. I use American Eagle FMJ 165 gr for range fire, Speer Gold Dot JHP 165 gr & Federal Tactical HST 180 gr for self defense.
