For all of you thinking about the barrel swap, you can thank Smitty357, as he tested this back around September +/_. He owned a Shield 40 and a Shield 9mm, and he swapped the 9mm barrel into the 40 slide, and found it worked fine. He has posted several videos regarding the swap, and advised us of Guns and Gear Outlet, where we could purchase the 9mm barrels. We have teased him that he should be getting a percentage of all the 9mm barrel sales.

A number of us have made the swap with our Shields, and when we see someone asking which gun should they buy, a 40 or 9mm, the answer is easy. We say choose 40, as you can order a 9mm barrel and have both for the price of a barrel. So Smitty you have started a trend. And again I thank you for showing us all this easy, drop in conversion.
