I use the same Harris on all my rifles. For the 15-22, I use a QD mount that clamps to the rail. It's as solid as when mounted on my other rifles.

His Harris is designed to move back and forth. I'll ask which one he's using, but that's how he said it is supposed to work. Here's a link to a sniper website that explains the whole thing with pictures.
