I'm a fan of the M-Pro7 stuff. The gun cleaner and the LPX oil. It works really well. It comes in simple spray bottle, so you can use it in the house without it going everywhere like an aerosol can. Even if it was in an aerosol it wouldn't matter, cause it doesn't have any harsh fumes etc. It's safe on all parts of your M&P. To sum it up, it is Safe and Effective.
