You might check out Gunbroker, and search out your Smith & Wesson 28, (model #) then you can see what starting prices on auctions are. There is also a function allowing you to search out "Completed Auctions" on your pistol. Listed on this sites "For Sale" at a fair price should result in a quick sale. Make sure you follow all laws in shipping. Good luck.
