Guys with large hands would benefit from custom stocks that add some wood over the backstrap and are thickened with deep palm swell. Finger grooves need to be sized for your actual fingers, not just cut in some one-scallop-fits-all basis. I am also coming to believe that some of the Fuzzy Farrant style stocks that mount on revolvers the wide, straight stocks that imitate the shape and feel of semi-auto stocks have a lot going for them.

I think you just need to explore the options of off-the-shelf stocks, and if they don't work you should start talking to a custom grip maker. Good luck.
