Back in the old(er) days Pachmayr made two sizes of Presentation stocks for N-frames. You can probably still find the large size maybe still in production or likely on the used market. They will be "similar" to the factory targets - mainly thinner through the cross-section and a little longer front-to-back. I have pretty big hands too, but I always preferred the small size on my 4-inch Model 29.

The factory target stocks are pretty manageable on the Model 27, especially with the long barrel. If you object to the checkering (some of us do) you might just look around for a smooth set.

Nill also makes some very nice stocks for N-frames in a variety of configurations - all wood, of course. They are not inexpensive but the quality is there.
