I bought the MA compliant Shield and live in MA. Immediately installed the APEX Carry Kit to make the trigger pull acceptable. It's a great gun once you do the trigger.

Not a lawyer but it is common practice for MA gun owners to modify their trigger. I've never heard of any legal problem caused by doing this. It's just a trigger job.
