Many times my FS 9 does this. Sometimes it does and other times it doesn't. I've even flipped the lever up only to have it come down again and do this. I have always been able to force the slide just enough to allow the lever to be positioned properly. Once the slide does a full forward/reverse travel with it right, it stays that way.

I have never figured out why it does this sometimes and not others.
