Never heard of it but if he was diagnosed with PTSD and he told them about it it could have been the issue it's CYA with things that are going on. They don't know what level PTSD he has and some with some he should be kept away from firearms until it is controled. As from US Department of Veterns Affairs "Studies show that suicide risk is higher in persons with PTSD" there are other factors involved also that increase risk.
