I wont be buying any of that Kool-Aid myself...Oh I had a thought on the shortage of barrels, Thompson Center sells the 5R as its premium line and is having a hard time keeping up with its production, they are selling everything they can produce. S&W is also afraid to wake up some morning and find that they have a large inventory of stuff that is illegal. In the time since the school shooting their stock has dropped 30% in value because of anti-gun people selling it off. They are doing what they can to stay in business and put out good product. The whole political scene with the attacks on 2A would make a gun manufacturer very nervous about their very existence!!
Colt can imitate but will never duplicate this sweet little black jewel sitting next to me in a case. I feel fortunate to have bought into the Sport when mine was made. I think I would have really missed out on new friends, tons of knowledge and watching a 16" barrel dusting prairie dogs at over 250yards.
