The problem with all this is that it does not necessarily allow an individual who lacks a CHL to remove the gun from the vehicle and transfer it to the trunk. The instant the gun is removed and in the possession of the owner outside the vehicle - depending on where the vehicle is located - he may be subject to arrest.
