In the case of private employers, the new statute uses the definition of "premises" as “a building or a portion of a building.” It does not encompass all of the employer’s property, such as private or public driveways, streets, sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, parking garages, or other parking areas. I'm 95% certain this also applies to schools.
