One thing I have been doing forever is I call the shot after I shoot. That is, I will say (to myself) I pulled it to the right, left, etc. Having a good spotting scope helps a lot.

The cure for anticipation is to shoot quite a bit (IMO). Shoot the low recoil .22LR first.
