w231 works well in all my 6" revolvers with the 158gr lead bullets of all types............. in these long barrel 4.7grs with a cci500 primer gives me a solid 890fps and poa with tight groups.

It did not work out to well in my snub M49 with the 158 Lswc
and FBI Lhp style bullets. I ran from a target load of 4.0 up to a maximum of 5.0grs and did not find a load that was accurate or near poa, with this weight bullet, with light to heavy crimps.
I sure it works well in other snubs, just not mine.

Too bad since it meters well and is one of the cleaner powders for the 38 special.
