Great- new cards, layaway forms, receipts, rubber stamps, etc.
I could not throw all those forms in the trash because someone could dummy up a receipt or Layaway ticket and cause problems. So I burned them all when all my new printing was done.
The town I was in was large enough to lobby Ma Bell or the PSC or whoever it took to get back into the Atlanta area code.

Do you get it?
Time to burn all the new stuff and have the old stuff printed again.....
Great.

Very aggravating, to say the least.
So, which area code do you have now? You didn't go back to 404 ,did you? We are 770 for landlines. Although my cell is 770 & my wife is 678! Was the initial switch for you to 706? I know this is causing other members eyes to glaze over. But, here in N.Ga., we have three local area codes and can call a few more without long distance charges. It has been 10 digit dialing here for at least 20 years.
