I have a 17,18 and 34 and run into this. What works for me, being old fashioned I use Hoppes9 with a .25 brush and clean the chambers real well.
I remove the cylinder from the gun, using a chunk of leather, chuck it in a vise and do a very good job of cleaning. I also do a good job of cleaning out under the extractor. Dry sufficiently, use the compressor and blow it out real good. Do a very light lube under the extractor and I’m good for a few months.
That cures both the problem of the cylinder to turn easy and also hard ejection of the spent brass. As I also have 3 semi auto .22s rifles I tend to use high velocity ammo most times.
