Sounds like Galloway has taken measurements off the older models,
both in rod length and spring weight, see below compared to Wolff.

Now Wolff has 2 different guide rods, 1 fit's Sigma full size
models disc. in 99 and the other 1 is for current 4 inch models.

Wolff spring rates are different also between the older and newer models.

Seems like Wolff got it right and Galloway didn't.

I think Galloway got it wrong in more ways than that. Their so-called 17# recoil spring that I had in my SD40VE felt more like the Wolff 14# spring that I once put in my M&P9FS.
