Try this. Go to the lumber yard & find a dowel that's the same size as your extractor rod. Cut it to fit through the yoke, sharpen the end in a pencil sharpener. Find a wooden doorstop to use as a wedge. If you know how to use the alignment tool, you should be able to get your cylinder pretty close with these primitive tools.
