I got a wild idea kicking around in my head.
I was looking at the L- frame 586 and was wondering with all that steel on that cylinder.
Why couldn't someone recut the chambers to 41 or 44 cal.?
Maybe rebore the barrel or if an N- frame barrel would fit just go with another barrel.
Now this is where you all come in telling me I'm nuts (which the wife reminds me of everyday) and why it would not work.
