In 2011 Mississippi was tied at 39th with nine other states. Open carry, stand your ground(is this figured in?) and a few other things have been enacted since then so I suspect we will move down in this poll. That's a good thing. The states with the worse gun laws have the highest crime rates. I've had many criminals tell me they try not to pick a victim who may be armed. Having the right to just "show" a potential criminal a gun without getting arrested is a huge crime deterrent. The gun grabbing libtards make laws and regulations that make absolutely no sense. For example, how many drive-bys have you seen committed with a M1 Garand? Taking guns away from non-criminals causes crime to go up.
