GF1 is right, personal preference depends a lot on how a gun feels in the hand. This is only a factual thing to the shooter. I own both, shoot both, like both. My reasons for slightly favoring the M41 is that I believe it's basic design is better. Frame cracking is never heard of, and the takedown procedure is far superior. A buffer can be purchased should the shooter wish to shoot HV, as it is said, that can crack the slide. That said, I would much rather deal with a cracked slide than a cracked frame. The HS has a very weak frame, and that's scarey.
