Love those old winchesters! I see that early on this old thread I already posted a model 63 I bought new years ago. It was a end of production with the rare grooved receiver. I have another old model 61 made in the 1930s. It has the octogon barrel and is in .22 LR. My dad bought it in the late 1930s and the gun is very special to me as I learned to shoot with it at a early age. My dad put a block of wood on the 61 as he was a very tall man with long arms for lop. I also own a 1890 that was in .22 wrf. Someone before me had put some custom wood with a cheekpiece pistol grip stock on it. Since it already was worked over I went farther with it and had it chambered to .22 winchester magnum. Here they are. While we are at it I also am showing a first year winchester model 70 that was .22 hornet but someone rechambered it to K-hornet.
