This may be old news, but the original load was 20 grains of powder under a 146 grain round nose bullet. (The "gallery" load was 6 grains of powder under a 70 grain round ball.)

And this may be a figment of my imagination, but my best recollection is the typical range for "the hot load" was 50 yards------60 feet for the gallery load.
