I try to contribute here when I can, though I would never swear to the accuracy,but,.. I'll not let questionable accuracy stop me from commenting on this rabbit fact. An old rabbit hunter just told me last week that rabbit population works on a seven year cycle.

His "factoid" was relayed when I complained that coyotes were decimating our rabbit population...Nope, says he, yotes are too lazy to hunt rabbits, way too many house cats and poodle dogs to waste time chasing a rabbit...Oh, next time I see the rabbit expert I will ask about the tree climbing type.
I bet money he has an answer, though not necessarily a true one.
