Default Colt Officers Model

I put a Colt 22lr on lay-away today. How did I do? Price #550.00

It is a 1941 Colt Officers Model 22 long rifle. six rounds, 6 inch barrel, I believe original grips [w/small chip] Serial #CSP29xx

My guess is that it is 95-98% One chip on the grim, light cylinder drag line and some wear marks near the crown. I don't think it was ever holstered. It could have been used in a ninety round competition called a Bulls Eye. Three different caliber revolvers. I don't of course know for sure. There is a brother revolver in .38 cal for sale in the same case.

The lock up puts my Rough Rider and H&R 539 to shame. Those two will be up on Armslist soon.

The photo is from Google Images.
