Thanks, My Garand was built post Korean War, so not very historic as Garands go, but well built and a great shooter.

I bought a Sport about 3 weeks ago. I am very impressed with the fit of all parts, particularly the upper to lower fit, and it even has a nice trigger. Many ARs have frankly pretty bad triggers compared to other rifles, even older US military rifles. With the heavier barrel than a typical M4 profile I think the Sport is one of the better balanced ARs I've handled.

I haven't shot my Sport yet as it had to go back to the Mothership for a finish problem under warranty. It looks like the Melonite on the barrel was scratched and scuffed when the FSB was installed. With the Melonite process I didn't think touching up was an option. Hopefully only a week or so more.
