I have to be honest, all I know about the pistol is what i have picked up from this thread. I think this is where the seller must have gotten his information also.

In your opinion, is this an exported gun or was it just that Smith could not sell them all overseas and released them on the US market? Is there a way to find out when and where it was shipped without buying the letter?
