I bought my M645 from the Dept Armorer... it was his class gun at S&W school & had all the upgrades. He had gotten it approved & he smiled every time I qualified with 'his gun'. Easiest gun I ever qualified with, never bobbled. I aquired it January 1989. Part Time officers could sign out weapons (no one ever did) or supply their own.
