I always find it amusing that the very people who preach tolerance towards and condemn any type of stereotyping of other species or of humans, are the first to stereotype and use hate terms towards Pitt Bulls. Go figure.

Pitt Bulls are very powerful for their size, and have powerful jaws. So when one does go off track it is not like a Beagle going off track. However, Rottweilers, Bull Mastiffs, and German Shepherds, as well as many other large powerful breeds can become problems without proper training and care.

I think one of the worse thing you can ever do to a dog is chain them up for long periods of time. If you don’t have a fenced yard or they don’t live inside don’t get any kind of dog. So many people just don't understand this.

It always breaks my heart to see some poor dog chained to a tree or post somewhere.
