It just confounds me that this battle never ends even though the REAL facts are that the majority of Americans are pro gun ownership in one form or another.

I'm in Virginia also. The problem here is that Northern Virginia and the Tidewater area control how the entire state falls in these elections. The more those areas grow and spread out, the more state seats they can grab. Pretty soon, VA will be a blue state all over. We are seriously discussing leaving VA all together now. Looking at either Northern FL near St Augustine or Northern Texas after out daughter graduates.
