If I recall correctly, there were about 1,500 686+ Mountain Guns produced. Not a lot. Below is mine. It has less than 300 rounds through it and is really a pleasure to shoot. The out-of-the-box trigger is one of the smoothest I've ever felt and the gun is much more accurate than I am. The angle of this photo makes the caliber inscription on the barrel difficult to see. Great guns. Wish I had one in 45 Colt. Enjoy yours.
